Crochet Time and my Friend Natasja

Today I want to tell you a bit about my friend Nastasja. We made friends thanks to the African Flower pattern a while ago. Natasja is the one "responsible" for the pattern to be translated from Afrikaans to English, I didn't speak English-crocheting language at the time!
Natasja, like me, grew-up in a family of artists - her Grandma and Great Grandma were crocheting, knitting, quilting and making wedding dresses. Being a child, brought up in an artistic and crafting environment, I can say, life was so interesting - full of colours, little things and incredible action. Those little things embed themselves into your genes and sooner or later you become an artist or a craftsman yourself even if it's only a hobby.
Natasja has ventured herself even higher and just opened up her very own etsy shop.
Congratulations!
Let's have a peek - Crochet Time. How cool is that!
Absolutely stunningly fabulous! I fell in love immediately with the idea and her clocks!
I also couldn't resist to put some of her gorgeous creations here (there is more in her shop).
Look at those lovely circles and cheeky buttons!
... and flowers here. And if you zoom in you can see that some of the buttons have little dots on them. I love dotty things!
And here is one with granny squares - classic value. Whatever we make, sooner or later we return to the basics - to the granny squares! Stunning edging, have you noticed!

But above all what I do love here - is the perfectly made circles and very even stitches!

Nastasja, I want to congratulate you on your gorgeous clocks, other fabulous creations and opening of your very own shop!
I wish you many happy sales!

  1. I found your link on Crafty Stuff's Facebook Page. I'm in love with that second clock. It would go perfectly in my daughters' bedroom. I'm glad I found your site, I've been wanting to learn how to crochet and you have step by step instructions with pictures :)
